Bridger & Co.

Sales & Consignment

You set your price. We find the buyer.

Sell the equipment and valuables you don't have time to sell yourself. You tell us the number you want in your pocket — you get that number in full.

No sale, no fee.

Nothing upfront. Nothing owed unless it sells. Our commission goes on top of your price, and the buyer pays it.

How it works

How it works

Four steps. You keep the item until it sells, and you keep control of the price the whole way through.

  1. 01

You tell us what it is

Send the details and photos. Two numbers matter: what you'd like to get, and the least you'd accept. Both are yours to set.

  2. 02

We tell you what it's worth

We research what comparable items have actually sold for and come back to you honestly — sometimes higher than you expected, sometimes lower. If we don't think we can do better than you can, we'll say so and decline.

  3. 03

We market it and handle the buyers

We list it properly and go find the buyers who were never going to see your listing. You don't field the messages, the lowballs or the no-shows. Any change to the asking price comes to you in writing first, with our reasoning.

  4. 04

    You get your number

The buyer pays you directly and collects the item. Our commission is paid separately by the buyer, and it's disclosed to them up front. If it never sells, you owe us nothing.

Rates

What we charge

Published, and the same for everybody. Our fee is added on top of your price — never taken out of it.

Under $1,00020%minimum $100
$1,000 – $10,00015%
Over $10,00010%

Plus anything we sell it for above the asking price — which is what keeps us working to beat your number rather than settle for it.

Why this can't cost you money

Your number is fixed before we start, and our fee sits on top of it, paid by the buyer. Every dollar the price comes down, our commission comes down with it — so we have exactly the same reason you do to hold the line. There is no listing fee, no intake fee and no retainer. If it doesn't sell, you have paid nothing.

Scope

What we take on

We're not tied to one category. We take on anything we're genuinely confident we can sell for more than you'd get on your own — and we say no to the rest.

What we don't take

  • Cars, trucks, motorcycles and titled trailers
  • Boats over 32 feet
  • Firearms and ammunition
  • Anything the seller doesn't own outright

Titled vehicles and large vessels require a Florida dealer or yacht broker licence, which we don't hold and don't pretend to.

Start

Tell us what you're selling

Two minutes. No obligation, no fee, and we'll come back to you with an honest read on what it's likely to fetch — including if that's less than you were hoping.

Both are yours to set, and you can change them later. We'll tell you honestly if we think they're off.

Photos optional, but they get you a faster and better answer

Five shots tell us more than twenty. If you can only take a few, take these:

  • The whole thing, straight on, in the best light you have
  • The serial or model plate, close enough to read
  • The back — ports, connections, anything modified
  • Close-ups of any damage, wear or missing parts
  • It switched on and running, if it runs

No photos to hand? Send the form anyway and we'll sort them out together.

No fee to submit. No obligation. We only get paid if it sells.

Questions people ask

Why wouldn't I just sell it myself?
You can, and if it sells this week you should. Most people come to us after it's been sitting for a month. We do the part you don't want to do — answering forty messages, weeding out the no-shows — and more importantly we take it to buyers who don't shop where you listed it. It costs you nothing to find out, because you get your number either way.
So the price will be higher than I'd have listed it.
It will, and that's the point. It's being shown to people who were never going to see your listing, in places where that price is simply the going rate. Your number doesn't change either way — the asking price is our problem to solve, not yours.
What if you can't sell it?
Then you've lost nothing but the few minutes it took to sign one page. Either of us can end the agreement with a week's notice, and you go back to selling it yourself.
Do you take the item away?
No. It stays with you, in your possession, until the buyer collects it. We never take ownership of it, and we never handle your money — the buyer pays you directly.
Why does it have to be exclusive?
Because we spend our own money on photography and advertising for something we don't own. If it sells out from under us on day three, we've paid for your sale. The term is 60 days, and you can cancel with a week's notice.
How do you decide what it's worth?
We find what comparable items have actually sold for — not what people are asking, what buyers paid. We show you those comparisons on the call, so you're looking at the same information we are.

Who you're dealing with

Bridger & Co. is Joseph Gonzalez Rodriguez, based in Miami, Florida.

We work for the seller. Not the buyer, not a platform, not a carrier — you. That's the whole design: your number is fixed, our fee is published, and we're paid only when you are.

We sell for people in English and Spanish, and we'd rather tell you honestly that an item won't fetch what you're hoping than take it on and waste a month of your time.

Your item never has to travel to us — it stays where it is until the buyer collects it. That means we can sell for you wherever you are. If you're in South Florida we'll come photograph it ourselves; anywhere else, we'll walk you through getting the shots that actually sell it.

Based in Miami. We sell for people anywhere.
